“Murder Impossible…” By Jack Fitzgerald was awesome! I haven’t read anything like that in a long time, and I loved feeling like I was really on a cruise somewhere and not stuck inside with all this dreary snow! For once it seemed like the characters were anything but the stock, ordinary typical hero/protag guys, but instead all had demons, motivations, secrets, and unexpected twists. All came together to create a fresh-feeling novel that was out of the ordinary and kept me hooked throughout. This was a standalone novel (not a part of any series, it appears), but I hope Mr. Fitzgerald writes more like this. I’d be reading it!”

“A compelling read, and one that will definitely appeal to fans of mystery/who-done-it/legal novels. Jack Fitzgerald infuses a unique blend of mystery, drama, romance, adventure, and shocking turns. The story flowed well and moved the plot forward nicely, sparing us of the dreaded “telling” that so many authors tend to do. We feel like we are a part of the book and I recommend for fans of thriller/suspense who’d like a new twist and amazing characters.”

“This book was terrific! Once I started reading I didn’t want to stop until I’d finished the whole thing. It pulls you in from the beginning, and I enjoyed the author’s “voice” and style of writing. The interweaving plot lines were well-crafted and not predictable, and I thought he even did a great job of giving a nice twist to the traditional ol’ murder mystery. The characters were all interesting and well-written. I’d love to read more from this author in the future!”

“This book seems to have something of everything… action, romance, mystery, thriller, comedy, a cruise, a courtroom showdown… and it was an easy read that held on to my attention from start to finish. I was almost sad when it was over, but the ending was satisfying and gives a nice resolution. For the most part I thought the writing was really on point. I do feel like people will genuinely enjoy this engaging story though, and be trying to figure out the clues and the who and why!”

I definitely enjoyed this book. I thought it was excellently written and kept my attention from the opening pages to the fulfilling finish. It is a quick read, one I finished in the course of an evening. I was surprised at a few things that happened, and thought the tension and narrative was great. Some of the best characters I’ve come across in a while too…. All unique and quirky. I will definitely be looking for more works from this author in the future. Definitely recommend reading for fans of mystery suspense.

What a crazy ride! Hang on to your seats and dive on in to “Murder Impossible” by Jack Fitzgerald. This is a uniquely refreshing change from many mystery books out on the market today. I totally got hooked on the creative plot and fell in love with the characters. The trial at the end is impossible to put down, and you just have to see how it all comes together. I finished this book much faster than I normally do and would love to read more from Jack Fitzgerald in the future. Recommend!
