This is the second Christmas our blog has appeared. We began with only a handful of readers but during this past year we have new reader friends from all over the world. A blog like anything else has to build and certainly slowly—as the old saying goes, “Rome wasn’t built in a day.”
The choices on the internet competing for our time is absolutely staggering. Blogs are out there in cyberspace by the thousands. Realizing this, we are especially glad that we have managed to not only continue our blog but to expand our sphere of operations.
Looking back over the past year, we’ve had some interesting stories and viewpoints to share with you. Many of you have written and commented. This is the surest sign that the blog is alive and working well. So, continue sending us your thoughts.
We had two contests this past year: a naming the character contest and an opening line contest. We appreciate those of you who participated—and, of course, we congratulate the winners.
A great deal of my time in addition to writing this blog this past year was dedicated to the writing of my next book MURDER IMPOSSIBLE. It is a sequel to my book of two years ago TEDDY BEAR MURDERS. The new book will be out in early January. I will keep you informed. It is a mystery novel in which a deaf and blind young man is accused of a horrifying murder on board a cruise ship to Mexico. It’s as s much of a howdunit as a whodunit. I would be very pleased to have you read MURDER IMPOSSIBE when it hits the market. You will be among the first to know when it arrives.
As I said last year, the best Christmas present you can give me is to round up five new subscribers to this blog. Now that it’s growing, let’s see if we can’t double our readership in 2015.
I owe a great debt of gratitude to my site webmaster, Dan Felix, for all he has done and continues to do to keep this venture going in a most professional and stylistically handsome manner.
My very best to each of you for a Happy Holiday and a super creative 2015.
